Remove cable straps (1) and remove temperature sensor (flame detect) (2) .

Remove cable straps (4) and disconnect harness assembly (5) .
Remove temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (3) , which is located on the diesel particulate filter.Installation Procedure
Install the temperature sensor (DPF inlet, flame detect) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads on temperature sensor (flame detect) (2) and to the threads of temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (3) . Tighten temperature sensor (flame detect) (2) and temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (3) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).
