6 - - Tighten the nut to 9 1 N m (80 9 lb in).
7 - - Use the following tightening procedure during wiper arm installation:
1. Tighten the wiper arm nut to 21 1 N m (186 9 lb in).
2. Wait for minimum 0.5 hour to maximum 4 hours.
3. Again, tighten the wiper arm nut to 21 1 N m (186 9 lb in).
Field torque check: Tighten the wiper arm nut to 12 N m (106 lb in minimum).
8 - - Tighten the nut to 7.5 0.5 N m (66.4 4.4 lb in).
