General Information
The power train electronic control module (ECM) uses the main display module on the Caterpillar Monitoring System for showing diagnostic information to service personnel. Diagnostic information concerning the power train ECM is sent via the Cat Data Link to the Caterpillar Monitoring System. Service personnel must be familiar with the Caterpillar Monitoring System in order to troubleshoot the power train ECM.The Caterpillar Monitoring System has different modes for troubleshooting and calibration.
