Information:
1. Remove nut (2) and lockwasher that hold yoke (1) on the shaft. Slide the yoke (1) on the shaft. Slide the yoke back and remove the yoke from the shaft. Remove the key from the shaft.2. Remove four bolts (5) that hold the circle reverse transfer gear housing to the frame. Slide the housing away from shaft (3) to disconnect the shaft from the coupling.
Shaft (3) will fall when the housing is removed from the frame.
3. Remove circle reverse transfer gear housing (4) from the machine.Install Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
1. Put circle reverse transfer gear housing (1) in position on the machine while shaft (2) is engaged with coupling (3). Install the four bolts that hold it to the frame.2. Install the key on the top shaft of the circle reverse transfer gear housing. 3. Install yoke (4) and the lockwasher and nut that holds the yoke to the shaft.Disassemble Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
start by:a) remove circle reverse transfer gear housing1. Drain the oil from the circle reverse transfer gear housing. 2. Remove coupling (1) and snap ring (2) from the shaft.3. Remove bolts (3) that hold cover (4) to the housing. Remove the cover. 4. Remove shafts (5) and the gears.5. Remove the gears from the shafts. Remove the keys from the shafts. 6. Remove plugs (6) and bushing from the cover with tooling (A). 7. Remove the seals from the housing. Remove the bushings from the housing with tooling (A). Assemble Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
1. Install the two bushings in cover (1) with tooling (A). Install the two plugs on the outside of the cover. 2. Install the two bushings in housing (3) with tooling (A).3. Install seals (2) in housing (3) with tooling (A). Make sure the lip of the seals is toward the inside of the housing as shown. Put SAE 30W oil on the lip of the seals.4. Put 9S6108 ELECTRO-INSULATION SPRAY on the shafts. Install the keys and gears on the shafts with the hubs on the gears toward the cover. 5. Install gears (4) and the shafts in the housing.
Be careful not to cause damage to the seals when the shafts are installed.
6. Put cover (5) in position and install bolts (6) that hold the cover to the housing. Be sure the shafts and gears turn freely.7. Install snap ring (7) and coupling (8) on the shaft.8. Fill the circle reverse transfer gear housing with oil. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
