Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contamination of the hydraulic system with foreign material will reduce the service life of the hydraulic system components.To prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, always plug or cap the lines, fittings, or hoses as they are disconnected. Cover any disassembled components and clean them properly before assembly.Clean the hydraulic system properly after any major component exchange or especially after a component failure, to remove any contamination.

Support ring gear (11) with suitable blocking. Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hub (12). Install hub (12) to ring gear (11). The weight of ring gear (11) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). The weight of hub (12) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

Apply Tooling (C) onto the bolts that attach retainers (13). Install two opposing retainers (13) and the bolts before removal of Tooling (A). Install the other retainers (13) and the bolts.

Install roller bearings (9), spacers (10), and thrust washers (8) into planetary gear (7).
Repeat Step 3 in order to assemble the remaining two planetary gears.

Install seal (6). Install planetary gears (7).

Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (5).
Repeat Step 6 in order to install the remaining two retaining rings.

Install spacer (1) and sun gear (2). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (1). End By:
