Insert one o-ring (8) in the o-ring groove of flange (4). Attach tube assembly (5) to elbow (9) using two bolts (6) and two washers (7) .

Install one o-ring (10) on to plug (11). Install plug (11) into tube assembly (5) .

Attach brackets (12) to flange (13) using four bolts (14) and four washers (15) per bracket. Leave bolts (14) loose until all flange bolts are torqued.

Install one flange (1), one ring (2), and one o-ring (3). Lubricate o-ring (3) with clean engine oil.
Press flange assembly (13) on to tube (5). Attach flange (1) to flange (13) using two bolts (16) and two washers (7) .

Attach flange assembly (13) to the engine oil pan using four bolts (14) and four washers (15). Leave bolts (14) loose until all bolted joints are torqued.

Install one flange (1), one ring (2), and one o-ring (3) onto tube (17). Lubricate o-ring (3) with clean engine oil.
Press tube (17) into flange assembly (13). Attach flange (1) to flange assembly (13) using two bolts (16) and two washers (7) .

Install one flange (1), one ring (2), and one o-ring (3) onto tube (17). Lubricate o-ring (3) with clean engine oil.
Press flange (4) on to tube (17), insert o-ring (8) in to o-ring groove of flange (4). Attach the assembled tube (17) to elbow (18) using two bolts (6) and two washers (7) .
Apply final torque only in this order to ensure proper alignment and to reduce assembly stress:
Torque bolts (16) refer to illustrations 14 and 16.
Torque bolts (6) refer to illustration 17.

Ensure proper clearance between the tube and oil filter brackets. Refer to illustration 18.
Torque bolts (6) refer to illustration 11.
Torque all support bracket bolts, refer to illustrations 13 and 15.
