Use caution to avoid possible personal injury when adjusting the bucket positioner.Stop the engine and lower all equipment to relieve the hydraulic pressure.Engage the parking brake and block the tires to prevent sudden movement of the machine.Keep unauthorized personnel off the machine.
Bucket Kickout Position
Bucket Kickout PositionYour machine may have a single bucket kickout position sensor or optional dual work tool kickout position sensors. To adjust the RACKBACK kickout position, perform the follow:
Start the engine. Lower the work tool to the ground.
Position the work tool at the desired angle to the ground. Stop the engine. Turn the engine start switch key to OFF and remove the key.The RACKBACK kickout position controls are on the left side of the bucket tilt cylinder.

Loosen the appropriate sensor mounting bolts (1) or (2) for the kickout you wish to adjust. The lower sensor bolts (1) control the BUCKET kickout setting. The upper sensor bolts (2) control the FORK kickout setting.
Slide the appropriate switch rearward to increase the digging angle, more dumped position. Slide the switch forward to decrease the digging angle, more rackback position. Tighten bolts (1).
To test the adjustment, start the engine. Raise the linkage and then dump the work tool slightly.
If equipped with a quick coupler, place the bucket/fork kickout switch in the position you want to test, BUCKET or FORK.
Place the tilt lever in the RACKBACK DETENT position. When the work tool reaches the preset angle, the tilt control lever should return to the HOLD position.
If the work tool does not stop in the desired position, repeat steps 1-7.Lift Kickout Height
Lift Kickout HeightTo adjust the LIFT kickout position, perform the following:
Start the engine. Raise the loader arms to the desired lift kickout height.
Stop the engine. Turn the engine start switch key to the off position and remove the key.The LIFT kickout position controls are on the right side of the loader arms.

Loosen bolts (2).
Adjust bracket (1) so that the edge is even with the center of sensor (3). Refer to Illustration
Tighten bolts (2).
To test the adjustment, start the engine. Lower the linkage.
Place the lift lever in the LIFT DETENT position. When the work tool reaches the preset lift height, the lift control lever should return to thehold position.
If the work tool does not stop in the desired position, repeat steps 1-6.
