130G, 140G, 12G, 14G, 16G Motor GradersIncorrect nitrogen charge pressure is being found during predelivery on the blade cushion accumulators. The correct charge pressure for 120G, 130G, 140G, and 12G Motor Graders is 2070 kPa (300 psi). The correct charge pressure for 14G and 16G Motor Graders is 2750 kPa (400 psi).
Some difference in pressures is expected on new machines. This is due to temperature changes and some pressure leakage. The leakage occurs during the time the accumulator is first charged and when it is installed on the machine and the system is charged. Once hydraulic pressure opposes the seal in the accumulator, the nitrogen pressure leakage stops.
The nitrogen charge pressure given in the Specifications for 120G, 130G, 140G, 12G Motor Graders, Form SENR3488-01, is listed incorrectly. The correct charge pressure is 2070 kPa (300 psi).
