Open the engine hood. The breather is located on the top of the engine.
Loosen hose clamp (1). Remove the hose from the breather cover.
Loosen clamp (2) and remove the breather assembly.
Check the condition of the cover seal. If the seal is damaged, replace the seal.
Wash the breather element and the breather cover in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
Shake the element dry or use pressure air in order to dry the breather element.
Inspect the hose for damage. Replace the hose, if necessary.
Install the breather assembly. Tighten clamp (2) .
Install the hose on the breather cover. Tighten hose clamp (1) .
Close the engine hood.
