1. Place transmission lever (2) in NEUTRAL.2. Use washers (7) to adjust switch assembly (5) to a 2.0 0.5 mm (.079 .020 in) engagement with plate on bottom of lever assembly (2).Reverse Lock Adjustment
1. With shift lever assembly (2) pulled to the rear of the NEUTRAL slot, adjust plate assembly (4) so lever assembly (2) engages side of bracket (3) by dimension (C) of 6 2 mm (.24 .08 in). See View A-A.Transmission Cable Adjustment
1. Remove cable end (8) from lever (9).2. Assemble cable to dimensions (D), (E), (F) and (G).3. From the upper end, push cable into sheath until valve spool is in last detent position. This is the SECOND REVERSE gear.4. Pull on cable end (8) until valve spool moves two detent positions. (This is NEUTRAL position.)5. Connect rod end (8) to lever (9).6. Loosen two bolts (11) until snug, but not tight.7. Move bracket (10) up or down until hand lever (2) is centered in NEUTRAL slot of guide as shown in Section H-H. Dimension J is to be 1.5 0.5 mm (.060 .020 in) larger than Dimension K.8. Tighten bolts (11).9. Move hand lever (1) into all gear positions to insure proper adjustment.
