Installation Procedure

Position refrigerant compressor (12) and install bolt (11).
Install bolt (3) and nut (5) (not shown).
Install V-belt (4) on the pulley for refrigerant compressor (12).
Install guard (6), bolt (14), nut (15) (not shown) and the washer.
Install nut (9) (not shown) and the washer to bolt (11).
Adjust the tension on V-belt (4). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust".
Connect electrical connectors (8) and (10).

Connect hose assemblies (1) and (2).
Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools. End By:
Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
