The following information details the alignment and installation procedure for the 368-2777 Exhaust Pipe As. This process should be adhered to when refitting or replacing the 368-2777 Exhaust Pipe As in the field.Required Parts

Align both pipes being connected by 368-2777 Exhaust Pipe As.Note: Fit the Strip Wound Flex portion of the pipe in a straight line and in the mid stretch position.
Strip Wound Flex portion of pipe can extend and compress. The flex should be extended midway between fully compressed and the fully stretched position. To extend the flex pipe to the mid position, follow the steps below.
Start with the flexible section of the pipe fully compressed.

Bend the flexible section of pipe by hand as seen in Illustration 1.

Place the bent section of pipe on a flat surface and apply light force to straighten the pipe. This procedure will set the flex pipe to the mid point of stretch. The pipe is now ready for installation.

Install the Exhaust Pipe Assembly and check for flex pipe straightness with a straight edge.The improved installation procedure for the 368-2777 Exhaust Pipe As is adaptable to the following machines:
