There have been reports that the two-way function control would stop during fast in and out operation on the machines listed above. When the operator utilizes thumb slider or joystick button, the control of the work tool would stop. The operator had to return the control to neutral in some instances in order to gain control back for open and close function.Solutions
Solution 1
Note: Solution 1 is the preferred method. The next version of software should incorporate the fix for this issue.Contact your Technical Communicator (TC) to open a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket to the Hydraulic Excavator Product Group. Request the previous 436-6666 Machine Software Gp in order to provide a temporary solution.Solution 2
Note: Solution 2 will cause active diagnostic errors of "Left Attachment Pedal" and "Right Attachment Pedal".If software is not available, and a technician is on site, the configurations can be changed in order to allow for smooth operation. Refer to Table 1.
