Rework Procedure
Only 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts that are used onthe main control valve need to be replaced. Replace all bolts one by onein order to limit oil leak.Group 1
Illustration 1
Remove the top cover for the main control valvein order to get access to the slow return valve. See Illustration 1.
Illustration 2 Replace all bolts one by one in orderto limit oil leak.
Remove the 4 existing 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts and replacethem with 4 new 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts. See Illustration 2. Tighten the bolts to55 Nm +/-10 Nm.
Install the top cover for the main control valve.
Group 2
Remove the top cover for the main control valvein order to get access to the main control valve.

Replace all of the 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts that are locatedon the flanges and hoses on the main control valve. See Illustration 3.
The quantity of 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts tobe replaced depends on the machine configuration and work tool options. Illustration 4 Replace all bolts one by one in orderto limit oil leak.
Remove all 1017404/">101-7404 Bolts and replace them withnew 1017404 Bolts. Tighten to 55 Nm +/-10 Nm.
Install the top cover for the main control valveand tighten the 4 bolts to a torque of 100 Nm +/- 20 Nm.
