Introduction
There is a known solution for the problem that is listed below. However, these changes will not be made on production machines. The dealer may choose to make the adjustments described below.Problem
When you operate a 950H Wheel Loader or 962H Wheel Loader just above the bucket tilt snubbing threshold of 1000 rpm, the engine may stall when the following actions are taken:
The operator tilts back the bucket.
The operator releases the throttle just before the bucket makes contact with the bucket stops.When these actions are taken, the implement pump may fail to receive a signal to destroke from the implement control. This causes a momentary, substantial torque load from the implement pump. This high torque load may cause the engine to stall.Solution
This problem may depend on the application, ambient temperature, etc. First, the low engine idle should be increased to 900 rpm. The engine may lug. The engine should not stall under these operating conditions. If the speed changes of the engine idle are not sufficient, the load sensing relief pressure can be adjusted in order to stop the stalling of the engine. A setting of 3800 psi is suggested.
