Inside Engine Compartment
(1) Conveyor pumpConveyor pump (1) is located in the engine compartment. This pump is driven by the engine through the pump drive gearbox. The engine compartment cover provide access to the conveyor pump.Conveyor pump (1) is a piston-type pump with variable displacement. The pump housing contains two rotating groups. The rotating groups are face-to-face. The front rotating group, nearest the input shaft, provides flow to the second-stage conveyor motor. The rear rotating group, nearest the end cap, provides flow to the first-stage conveyor motor.

(35) Servo cylinder adjustment mechanismEach port in the pump housing is identified by a numeric or an alpha-numeric designation that is cast into the housing next to the port. The function of each port is as follows:
Port"A" (33) is a system port. Port"A" is the reverse pressure port for the second-stage conveyor motor.
Port"B" (34) is a system port. Port"B" is the forward pressure port for the second-stage conveyor motor.
Port"C" (23) is a system port. Port"C" is the reverse pressure port for the first-stage conveyor motor.
Port"D" (32) is a system port. Port"D" of the forward pressure port for the first-stage conveyor motor.
Port"E" (24) is the charge inlet port. Filtered charge oil is directed into port"E".
Port"L1" (26) is a case drain port. A check valve is installed between port"L1" and the hydraulic tank. This check valve limits case drain pressure to 1700 kPa (25 psi).
Port"L2" (27) is a case drain port. Port"L2" is plugged.
Port"L3" (21) is a case drain port. Case drain oil from pump flows to the case of the fan pump through port"L3".
Port"MA" (13) is a gauge port for port"A" pressure. A remote pressure tap is connected to port"MA". This tap is used to measure pressure in the reverse circuit of the second-stage conveyor.
Port"MB" (7) is a gauge port for port"B" pressure. A pressure tap is installed in port"MB". This tap is used to measure pressure in the forward circuit of the second-stage conveyor.
Port"MC" (8) is a gauge port for port"C" pressure. A pressure tap is installed in port"MC". This tap is used to measure pressure in the reverse circuit of the first-stage conveyor.
Port"MD" (12) is a gauge port for port"D" pressure. A remote pressure tap is connected to port"MD". This tap is used to measure pressure in the forward circuit of the first-stage conveyor.
Port"M3" (28) is a charge pressure port. A pressure tap is installed in port"M3".
Port"M4" (18) and (25) are servo pressure ports. These ports are located on opposite sides of the pump housing. Each of these ports is plugged. The pressure on the reverse side of
