Start By:
Remove the engine compartment shield.

Remove bolts (1) and braces (2) from both sides of the fan group.

Remove clip (3) .

Disconnect hose (4) .
Remove bolts (5) .

Remove bolts (7) and radiator top tank (6) .

Remove hose (8)

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to fan group (9) .
Remove bolts (10) and (11) from both sides of fan group (9) .
Use the suitable lifting device to remove fan group (9). The weight of fan group (9) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Position fan group (9) onto suitable cribbing.

Remove bolts (12) and guard (13) .

Remove bolts (16) and fan (17) .

Remove hub (18) .

Remove nut (19) .

Use Tooling (B) to remove hub (21) .
Remove bolts (20) and guard (22) .

Remove bolts (24) and fan motor (23) .
Refer to Special Instructions, REHS4189-00, "Replacement of Blades for Variable Pitch Fan" for the replacement of the fan blade.Installation Procedure
Install the fan group in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nut (19) to a torque of 200 30 N m (148 22 lb ft).
