Place the winch in position on the machine.
Install bolts (12) that attach the winch to the machine.
Remove Tooling (A) and (B) from the winch.

The winch drive shaft does not need to be removed in order to install the winch.
Connect hydraulic hose assembly (8) to the winch.
Install bolt (10) that attaches hydraulic hose assembly (11) to the winch.
Connect hydraulic hose assembly (8) to the winch.
Connect linkage (9) to the winch.

Use two persons to install guard (7) on the machine. The weight of guard (7) is 23 kg (50 lb).
Install bolts (6) that attach guard (7) to the winch.

Install two U-bolts (4) and four nuts (5) that connect the drive shaft to the winch.

Install cover (2) and two bolts (3).
Install cover (2) and four bolts (1). End By:
Install the winch wire rope. Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7140, "Winch Wire Rope - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
