Introduction
The Special Instruction, REHS1258 details the procedure to change the lifting capacity that is stamped on the Hydraulic Pin Grabber Quick Coupler. The Hydraulic Pin Grabber Quick Coupler have been stamped with the lifting capacity of 10 tonne. The correct lifting capacity is 20 tonne. The lifting capacity is stamped on the lifting eye of the quick coupler.Do not perform any procedure that is outlined in this publication until you understand the information that is contained in this document.Remove the Former Designation
Lower the coupler to the ground or a suitable work surface.

The lifting capacity is stamped on the top side of the lifting eye (1) .

In order to remove the lifting capacity from the coupler, use a 1U-5779 Angle Grinder with a suitable grinding wheel. Completely remove the former lifting capacity (2) .Stamp the New Designation

Note: 1 tonne (2200 pounds)
Stamp the new lifting capacity or engrave the new lifting capacity into the lifting eye of the coupler. The new lifting capacity is 20 TONNE.
Coat the bare metal with primer. Allow the primer to completely dry.
Coat the primer with a final coat of paint. Allow the paint to completely dry.
