4-3 Disassembly Procedure
(1) Remove check valve (port P2) on top surface. * Attach the identification card for the correct reassembly to original position. (2) Since the plug is blind, do not disassemble in a routine check. (Foot hole blocked) (3) Remove the elbow attached to center logic valve. (4) Remove the elbow attached to boom merging logic valve. (5) Loosen relief cap with a torque wrench, then remove main relief valve. (6) Disassembly of center logic valve 1. Remove cap with a torque wrench. 2. Remove spring and poppet. * Do not disassemble the orifice installed in poppet. 3. Hook a thrust hammer into the side hole in sleeve, then pull out sleeve. * Secure the hook so that it does not slip and scratch the inside of the sleeve. Strike the head of the hook with a weight two or three times each at positions 180° apart. (7) Disassembly of logic valve (For boom merging) 1. Remove cap with a torque wrench. 2. Remove spring and poppet. * Do not disassemble the orifice installed in poppet. 3. Hook a thrust hammer into the side hole in sleeve, then pull out sleeve. * Secure the hook so that it does not slip and scratch the inside of the sleeve. Strike the head of the hook with a weight two or three times each at positions 180° apart. (8) Manual section (plunger M) Remove hexagon bolts on eye side, then remove seal retainer. (9) Remove plunger eye M with a plunger eye supporter and spanner. * Since the double faced notch width is not wide enough, use a spanner of matching size to securely hold so as the spanner does not slip off. (10) Remove hexagon bolts on cover side, then remove cover. (11) Attach spring compressor onto both ends of guide while slightly pushing the plunger end in. (12) While holding the two flats of plunger end with a spanner, loosen cap with a torque wrench. * Use the removed plunger eye (the one for use on plunger M which does not have O-ring) in step (9), put a washer with innner diameter slightly larger than screw diameter up against the side of the spanner, tighten the plunger eye and fix it with a spanner. (13) Remove cap * Since spring has a force of about 10kgf (22 lbf) when attached, carefully remove with spring compressor attached. (14) Remove guide and spring from spring compressor. * Apply a guide bar to both ends of guide and hold in a vise. After removing the spring compressor, slowly release the vise grip. (15) After removal of wiper, remove ring with a sharp-pointed needle. * Use care not to damage the housing seal pocket and plunger sections. (16) Pull out plunger from housing. * Slowly pull out the plunger while checking its contact with housing.* Attach identification tags to the plunger immediately after removal to ensure correct reassembly. Also check the inserting direction of plunger in housing for correct reassembly. (17)
