Introduction
This Special Instruction outlines the use of the FT-3318 tooling which aids in keeping the piston spring compressed during assembly. This helps prevent misalignment and possible damage to other internal motor components.Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until you have read the information and you understand the information.Required Parts

Note: Use these instructions in conjunction with the instructions in the appropriate Disassembly and Assembly manual for your machine.

Install tool (1) to hold the piston (2) and spring (3) in place.

Install rotating group (5) and then install tool (4) to secure.

Remove tool (1) and install two M10 threaded rods (6).

Use the threaded rods to guide the motor head into place.

Install the bolts that secure the motor head to the assembly. Leave enough gap to remove tool (4) and then tighten the bolts to the proper torque.
Assemble the remaining components of the motor.
