Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install seals (118) and (119) to piston (117) .

Install piston (117) and wave spring (116) into clutch assembly (96). Install pressure plate (115) and return spring assemblies (114) into clutch assembly (96). Install thrust washer (110) and ring gear (109) into clutch assembly (96) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install the discs and clutch plates (113) into clutch assembly (96). Position backing plate (112) and install bolts (111). Tighten bolts (111) to a torque of 12 3 N m (106 27 lb in).Note: Ensure that the return spring assemblies are seated into backing plate (112) .
Reposition clutch assembly (96) .

Install seals (107) and (108) to piston (104) .

Install thrust washer (106) and clutch housing (105) to clutch assembly (96). Install piston (104) and wave spring (103) to clutch assembly (96) .

Install pressure plate (102) and return spring assemblies (101) to clutch assembly (96). Install the discs and clutch plates (100) to clutch assembly (96). Position backing plate (99) and install bolts (98). Tighten bolts (98) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).Note: Ensure that return spring assemblies (101) are seated into backing plate (99) .

Use two people in order to position clutch assembly (96). The weight of clutch assembly (96) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Install bolts (97). Tighten bolts (97) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41
