PARTS DISPOSITION

Rework Procedure
Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release", before completing this Rework Procedure.
1. Disassemble the seat. Remove the central bolt. Slide the seat in front and remove the four bolts maintaining the suspension. Remove the seat from the cab. Refer to Images1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3.

2. Remove the right armrest. Refer to Image1.2.1.

3. Remove the switches on right plastic cover and then remove the right plastic cover. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Remove the right foam, the right access plate and the floor plate. Refer to Images1.4.1 and 1.4.2.

5. Use a vacuum transducer in order to not lose hydraulic oil. Un-screw the LS signal hose from the 148-8378 Elbow (valve side). Un-screw the 148-8378 Elbow from the implement valve LS signal line port. Plug the port. Refer to Images1.5.1 and 1.5.2.

6. Screw the 8J-9990 Adapter on the 148-8378 Elbow. Replace the 3J-1907 and 6V-8397 O-ring Seals on the 148-8378 Elbow by new ones and add one 3J-1907 on the 8J-9990 Adapter. Refer to Image1.6.1.

7. Remove the plug from the valve and screw the sub-assembly adapter and elbow in the valve block. Adjust the angle of the elbow and tighten the locknut. Tighten the adapter and the elbow to a specified torque of 55 +/- 8 N.m. Refer to Image1.7.1.

8. Remove the clip of the LS signal hose in order to assemble the hose. Assemble the LS signal hose on the 148-8378 Elbow. Re-assemble the clip with the LS signal hose on his original position. Refer to Images1.8.1 and 1.8.2.

9. Clean the area, remove the vacuum transducer. Start the machine and check and ensure that there are no leaks. Control and fill, if needed, the hydraulic tank oil.
10. Re-assemble all parts after the test.
