If leaks are found from the check valve, replace the 3204718/">320-4718 Control Spool, the 0966100/">096-6100 and 1232342/">123-2342 O-Rings on the leaking check valve.

If leaks are found in both oscillating axle lock cylinder valves:
- an additional 1 hour of labor.
- an additional 3204718/">320-4718 Spool Control (Qty 1), 1232342/">123-2342 Seal O-ring (Qty 1) and 0966100/">096-6100 Seal O-ring (Qty 1) can be claimed.
In case that both valves are replaced on a single machine, keep the old parts for SIB-request.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. In case that both valves are replaced on a single machine, hold the parts. "Send It Back" will generate a Parts Return Request (PRR).
Rework Procedure
1. Place the machine on level ground.
2. Stop the engine.
3. Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to the disassembly and assembly manual, "Hydraulic System Pressure Release" procedure for your machine.
4. Clean away any dirt and debris from the oscillating axle cylinder.
5. Remove five bolts (11) and cover assembly (5). Refer to Image1.1.1.
In order to remove the O-rings, as described in the following steps, do NOT use sharp-edged tools. Scratches or damage on the ground of the groove can cause leakages.
6. Remove the 3204718/">320-4718 Control Spool (4) and 0966100/">096-6100 O-ring (10). Refer to Image1.1.1.

7. Remove 1232342/">123-2342 O-ring (3). Refer to Images 1.1.1 and 1.2.1.
8. Install the new 1232342/">123-2342 O-ring, 0966100/">096-6100 O-ring, and the 3204718/">320-4718 Control Spool.
9. Re-install cover assembly (5) and apply Loctite 243 to bolts (11). Torque the bolts to 14 Nm.
10. Start the machine.
11. Engage/disengage the oscillating axle lock a couple of times.
12. Inspect the check valve for leaks.
