2. Disconnect hose (3) from the transmission oil pump.3. Disconnect the suction tube from the bottom of the transmission oil pump.4. Remove two bolts (1), and remove transmission oil pump (2) from the machine.5. Check the condition of the O-ring seals on the face of the oil pump and on the two oil lines. Replace if necessary.6. Install the transmission oil pump in the reverse order of removal.7. Fill the oil pump with clean transmission oil before connection of hose (3).Disassemble And Assemble Transmission Oil Pump (3F/3R)
START BY:a. remove transmission oil pump (3F/3R) Put identification marks on all parts for assembly purposes. 1. Remove bolts (1). Remove cover (2) from the body assembly. 2. Use tooling (A) to remove bearings (3) from the cover. 3. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the body assembly.4. Remove gear assemblies (5). 5. Remove bushings (7) from body assembly (6). The following steps are for assembly of the transmission oil pump.6. Make sure all parts are clean. Lubricate all parts with clean transmission oil during assembly. 7. Use tooling (A), and install bearings (3) in cover (2) and bearings (7) in body assembly (6). Install the bearings until they are 1.5 0.5 mm (.06 .02 in.) below the surface. Be sure the bearing joints are 30° 15° from the centerline toward the discharge port as shown.8. Assemble the transmission oil pump in the reverse order of disassembly.
After assembly, the oil pump must rotate freely by hand.
