This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4342" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A cast section has been added to the exhaust manifold group, 1150550/">1150550, on 3508B Engines used in T790G and 992G Wheel Loaders. This exhaust manifold section connects the right and left side exhaust manifolds. Adding the exhaust manifold section requires a new after cooler water vent line and new exhaust manifold softwrap. These modifications will eliminate turbocharger surge.

1. Remove air cleaner and air inlet piping.2. Remove exhaust manifold heat shielding, 1417178, 1417179, 1417181 and 1417182.3. Remove engine front (machine rear) exhaust manifold sections, right hand (1150549) and left hand (1150555).4. Remove aftercooler vent hose. Coolant may need to be drained .5. Install aftercooler vent hose, 1279862. Reference Illustration 1.6. Install engine front exhaust manifold sections. Reference Illustration 2. New gaskets, nuts and bolts are provided for all joints.
7. Install balance pipe and sleeves. Reference Illustration 2.8. Install new exhaust manifold wrap. Reference Illustration 3.9. Install air cleaner and air inlet piping.Changes to Aftercooler Vent Line Group, 1126060
