( 2 ) Use to install 362-8853 sealNote: The wear sleeve and the crankshaft front seal must be installed together.

Apply clean engine oil on the seal lip and on the outside diameter of wear sleeve (2) . Install the crankshaft front seal on the wear sleeve with the lip of the seal toward the side of the wear sleeve that has the chamfer on the inside diameter, as shown.

Use Tooling (E) in order to remove any oil from inside Diameter (X) of the wear sleeve and Surface (Y) of the crankshaft.
Apply Tooling (F) to Surfaces (X) and (Y) .
Install the crankshaft front seal and the wear sleeve on the crankshaft with the lip of the seal toward the engine, as shown.
Install Tooling (D) , as shown. Place lubricant between the bolt head and the installer.
Use Tooling (D) in order to push the crankshaft front seal and the wear sleeve on the crankshaft. Push the installer until the installer is against the end of the crankshaft. The wear sleeve and the crankshaft front seal are now in the correct location.
Remove Tooling (D) .End By: Install the vibration damper and the pulley.
