Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".

Remove elbow (1) and elbow (3) .
Remove cover (2) .
Remove gear (4) and bracket (5) .

Remove quad ring seal (7). Use Tooling (E) to remove impeller (6) from the shaft.

Remove cam liner (9) and the pin from housing (8) .
Remove quad ring seal (10) and wear plate (11) from housing (8) .
Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (12) .
Remove washer (13) .

Remove seal assembly (15) from shaft assembly (14) .Note: Place a mark on the housing and the body assembly for correct alignment at assembly.

Remove bolts (16). Separate housing (8) from body assembly (17) .

Use Tooling (A) to remove seal (18) from housing (8) .

Remove seal (19) from shaft assembly (14) .

Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (20) .
Use a soft hammer to remove shaft assembly (14) from body assembly (17) .

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press to remove bearing (22) from shaft assembly (14) .

Remove spacer (24) .
Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press to remove bearing (23) from shaft assembly (14) .
