Rework Procedure
1. When reworking the pilot manifold group, refer to the following image that shows the corresponding model in order to confirm the location of the pilot manifold group.

2. Confirm that the part number on the label of the pilot manifold group is 239-8697. This is located directly below the service part number 215-5037. Refer to Images 1.2.1 and 1.2.2.
Note: If a different part number is found, no further action is required.

3. Confirm the improved 369-8371 Selector Spool with the identification. Ensure that the 369-8371 Selector Spool is kept clean during this rework. Refer to Image 1.3.1.

4. Loosen and remove 9S-8005 Plug and 3K-0360 O-ring from the pilot manifold group. Refer to Images 1.4.1 and 1.4.2.

5. Pull out the selector spool from the bore. Do not pull out the spring that is located in the bottom of the bore. Refer to Image 1.5.1.

6. Insert the improved 369-8371 Selector Spool into bore.

7. If needed, replace the 3K-0360 O-ring on the 9S-8005 Plug. Install the 9S-8005 Plug and tighten to a torque of 50 +/- 7 Nm.

8. Paint the plug white.
