Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Use Tooling (A) to install bearings (3) and seal (5) in air shutoff housing (4) .
Lubricate the shaft assembly for air shutoff (6) lightly with glycerin prior to installation. Install the shaft assembly for air shutoff (6) in air shutoff housing (4) .Note: After installation of valve assembly (2), the clearance between valve assembly (2) and air shutoff housing (4) must not exceed 0.08 mm (0.003 inch). Use Tooling (C) to check the clearance.
Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (1). Reposition the shaft assembly for air shutoff (6) in order to install valve assembly (2). Position valve assembly (2) and install bolts (1) .
