Release the pressure in the hydraulic system accordingto the service manual.

Remove 122-7789 Cover from the former 140-0672Stick Regeneration Valve in 239-8974 or 239-8980 Control Valve Group. Referto illustration 1 and 2.
Wait for approximately 5 to 10 liters (1.5 to3 gal) of hydraulic oil to drain from the system.

Remove 140-0672 Valve Group shown in Illustration3.
Use an air tool type pencil grinder to debur thesharp edges on the pilot and drain passage at the control valve to preventthe seal from being cut.
Clean the bore to remove debris by using spraycleaner.

Install new 2555588/">255-5588 Regeneration Valve. Referto Illustration 4.
Following parts are certain componentsfor 2555588/">255-5588 regeneration valve GP. 255-5594 O-ring seal, 255-5590 sleeveand 255-5591 sleeve. The 255-5594 new seal must not be used with 122-7710& 122-7711 former sleeve. Because new sleeve is not interchangeablewith former one due to seal run out ability. Therefore, 255-5594 O-ringseal should be used with 255-5590 and 255- 5591 sleeve. Or 2555588/">255-5588 valveGP should be used.
Install 122-7789 cover to new 2555588/">255-5588 RegenerationValve.
Fill hydraulic oil to tank according to servicemanual. And check hydraulic lines according to service manual.
