A daily check of the scraper should be made to see if there are any loose nuts, bolt, or parts worn to such an extent that they are no longer serviceable. If corrective steps are taken immediately upon discovery of loose or worn parts, fewer forced stops and more economical operation will result.Dirt should not be allowed to accumulate and pack on the scraper. A few minutes spent daily in keeping it as clean as possible are well repaid in greater ease and safety of operation.Connections in the hydraulic system should be checked for looseness that might result in leakage. The hydraulic hoses should be inspected for signs of leakage or wear because hoses move and can rub against each other as well as against parts of the machine during operation.
