Improved installer for conventional seals with the latch feature.Seal Installation Procedure
1. Put the rubber toric on the steel seal ring. Be careful to avoid any initial twist in the toric. Lay the seal assembly on a flat, clean surface with the toric on the bottom.2. Loosen the wing nut on the latch screw. With light pressure on the latch screw, spread the installer apart until the head of the latch screw drops into the detent in the tongue plate. This will hold the installer open.3. Place the installer on the seal assembly with the working edge of the installer firmly against the rubber toric. Push to release the latch screw from the detent in the tongue plate, and close the installer firmly. Tighten the wing nut on the latch screw.4. Lubricate the toric with Isopropyl Alcohol and install the seal assembly into the housing.5. When the seal assembly is in the correct location, loosen the wing nut on the latch screw and spread the installer until it latches open as in Step 2.6. Remove the installer without disturbing the seal assembly.
