Caterpillar ProductsThe introduction of the Service Information System (SIS) and the development of new printing technologies has resulted in excess inventory of technical information. In an effort to reduce inventory levels, selected media numbers are being put on a "Bargain List". The dealer net price of those media numbers on the Bargain List has been reduced significantly. Beginning in March, special mailings announcing those media numbers that are on the Bargain List will be distributed to each recipient of Preview. The first Bargain List will announce which Parts Manuals can be ordered at the special price. Subsequent special mailings will announce the availability of other technical document types (Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Service Manual modules, Special Instructions, etc.).
All literature being offered is the most current available. This is an opportunity to update your technical libraries or obtain additional copies of technical information for your parts and service personnel.
Prices in the literature system have been adjusted and can be viewed on the LDMI screen. Once the supply of each media number has been exhausted, backorders will not be honored. Bargain List media cannot be returned for credit or reimbursement. Orders should be entered using the standard literature order process on the LIOE screen. Please do not place "Urgent" orders for those media numbers on the Bargain List.
