The ECM monitors the position of the steering wheel in order to determine the desired turning radius of the machine. The ECM also monitors the inputs of the speed dial, the speed lever, the brake pedal, the gear switch, and the harness code in order to determine the selected speed of the machine. The ECM will calculate the correct speed of each track (or wheel) in order to give the correct turning radius. The ECM monitors the left speed sensor input and right speed sensor input in order to determine if each track or wheel is going too fast or too slow. The ECM modulates the output current to the propel EDC solenoids in order to achieve the correct speeds.
