Left Side of Instrument Panel (1) Vibratory switchVibratory switch (1) is located on the left side of each instrument panel. The vibratory switch on the left instrument panel is shown above. The position of the operator station selector switch determines if the vibratory switch on the left instrument panel or the vibratory switch on the right instrument panel is active.Vibratory switch (1) is a toggle switch with two positions. The top position is the ON position, and the bottom position is the OFF position. The machine electronic control system uses the input from the active vibratory switch to determine if the operator has enabled the vibratory system. When the vibratory system is enabled, the machine electronic control system will only allow the vibrator to operate when the machine is traveling forward while in the pave mode. Refer to "Propel System" for additional information about machine travel modes and travel direction.

Right Screed Operator Control Station (4) Vibratory speed dialNote: The above illustration shows the AS2252C Screed. On a tamper equipped screed, vibratory speed dial (4) is located on the main screed operator station. On non-tamper screeds, the right screed operator station is equipped with vibratory speed dial (4). Turn the knob clockwise in order to increase the vibratory frequency. Turn the knob counterclockwise in order to decrease the vibratory frequency.Vibratory speed dial (4) varies the vibratory frequency between zero and 3000 rpm. The vibratory speed dial is connected to a potentiometer. The screed ECM monitors the position of the vibratory speed dial in order to determine the vibratory speed setting. The screed ECM sends the vibratory speed setting to the left operator ECM through the Cat Data Link.
