Typical Example
Apply a thin coat of 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on pin (6) .
Install the spacer and pin (6) in the stick at the foot of the heel cylinder.
Temporarily install the washers and pin retaining bolt (5) .

Measure the total lateral clearance between heel cylinder (2) and the heel (9) .
The total clearance of dimension (a) plus dimension (b) cannot be more than 1.0 mm (0.04 inch) maximum.
If the total clearance is less than 1.0 mm (0.04 inch), the addition of shims will not be required. Proceed to Step 21.
If the total clearance is more than 1.0 mm (0.04 inch), add the correct thickness of shims in order to obtain the necessary clearance. Proceed to Step 15.
Use the following table to determine the correct shims.
