Parts Needed
Action Required
Install new software by using the flash files that are available on the bulletin board or the service replacement modules that can be ordered through the parts system.
Installation of the new software on engines that have the oil pressure sensor installed at the oil filter base must move the oil pressure sensor back to its original location.
The flash file and control group have changed on this revision for the D10R. Install new part numbers and claim PS4110 as part causing failure.
Service Claim Allowances
This is a 1-hour job.
Allow an additional 1-hour labor for moving the oil pressure sensor on those engines that have the sensor mounted at the base of the oil filter.
Allow an additional 1 hour labor for 657E Scrapers since each ECM must be disconnected and flashed separately.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
