Diagnostic windows can show the diagnostic file for a machine or the statistical information about the GPS data on the machine. Machine Diagnostics File
Purpose
Diagnostic files provide information about the configuration and about the state of the CAESultra system on a machine at a particular time. The diagnostic file provides information such as the prime files, the on-machine files, the statistical information about the GPS position and the Display serial number.The diagnostic window will display a particular diagnostic file from a selected machine. Diagnostic files are periodically sent from the machine to CAESoffice. The diagnostic files are saved in the office. Either the current diagnostic file or a saved diagnostic file can be displayed.

Open a Diagnostic File
Perform the following steps in order to open a diagnostic file:
Open the "Windows" pull-down menu.
Select "New" from the "Windows" pull-down menu. The "New" menu is opened.
Select "Diagnostics" from the "New" menu. The "Diagnostics" menu is opened.
Select "Machine Files" from the "Diagnostics" menu. The "Machine Files" menu is opened.

Select "Machine Files" from the "Diagnostics" menu.
Select "Current" from the "Machine Files" Menu if the most recent diagnostic report for the machine is required. Otherwise, select "Select.." if an old diagnostic report that has been saved is required.The "Select a Machine" dialog which is shown in Illustration 3 appears.

Select a machine from the "Machine Name" list.
Click the "OK" button.The "Select a Machine" dialog is closed. Note: If "Current" was selected in Step 5, then the "Diag Machine File" window appears with the current file opened and this instruction is completed. However, If "Select.." was selected, then the "Select a Machine File" dialog which is shown in Illustration 4 appears and the remaining Steps for this instruction must be performed.

Open the appropriate folder for the year.
Select a diagnostic file from the list.
Click the Open button.The "Select a Machine File" dialog is closed and the "Diag Machine File" window appears with the selected file opened.GPS Data
Purpose
The "diagnostic" window for GPS data shows statistical information about the GPS position for the selected machine. The GPS data includes the maximum, the minimum, and the average number of visible satellites and the position solution statistics.

Open a "GPS Data Diagnostic" Window
Perform the following steps in order to open a "GPS data diagnostic" window:
Open the "Windows" pull-down menu.
Select "New" from the "Windows" pull-down menu. The "New" menu is opened.
Select "Diagnostics" from the "New" menu. The "Diagnostics" menu is opened.
Select "GPS Data" from the "Diagnostics" menu. The "Select a Machine" dialog which is shown in Illustration 3 appears.
Select a machine from the "Machine Name" list.
Click the "OK" button. The "Select a Machine" dialog is closed. The "GPS diagnostic" window is opened for the selected machine and the information that is contained in the "GPS diagnostics" window is updated periodically.
