Slightly raise torque converter (1) to Install transfer gears (4).
Install torque converter (1). The weight of torque converter (1) is approximately 532 kg (1173 lb). Place torque converter (1) onto Tooling (B) (not shown).

Install bolts (3).

Install bolts (2).

Attach Tooling (A) to torque converter assembly (1).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter assembly (2). Attach Tooling (B) to torque converter assembly (2). The weight of torque converter assembly (2) is approximately 1108 kg (2440 lb).
Remove torque converter assembly (1) from Tooling (C).
Rotate torque converter assembly (2) and place torque converter assembly (2) on the ground.
Remove Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and the suitable lifting devices.End By:
Connect the torque converter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission and Torque Converter - Connect".
