Install end plate (21) on the plate. Note: The arrows on the plate near the bolts must be in the same direction as the arrow on ring (22).
Align the bolt holes with the holes in the ring.
Install the bolts that hold the cartridge together.
Tighten the bolts for the large cartridge to a torque of 11 1 N m (97 9 lb in).
Tighten the bolts for the small cartridge to a torque of 6 0.5 N m (53 4 lb in).

Install seal (18), O-ring seal (19), and back up ring (33) on the large cartridge. Note: The back up ring must be installed toward the outside of the cartridge, as shown.

Use Tooling (A) in order to install the inner lip seal and the outer lip seal in pump body (8). Note: The lip of the two seals must face toward the inside of the pump, as shown.

Install thrust washer (16) in pump body (8).

Heat bearing (15) to a temperature of 135 °C (275 °F).
Use the proper protective equipment in order to handle bearing (15).
Install bearing (15) on shaft (12).
Use Tooling (B) in order to install snap ring (14) on the shaft.

Install shaft (12) and the bearing in pump body (8), as shown.
Install the ring that holds the bearing in position in body (8).
Install O-ring seal (11) in pump body (8).

Install large cartridge (10) over the pump shaft in body (8).

Put the cartridge and the pump body in position in cover (34).
Align dowels (35) with the holes in cover (34).
Install the bolts that hold the unit together.
Tighten the bolts to a torque of 360 14 N m (265 10 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (2) on pump body (8).

Install small cartridge (7) in the pump cover over the pump shaft. Note: Ensure that the dowels in the end of cartridge (7) are engaged correctly with the holes in cover (34).

Install seal (5), O-ring seal (4), and back up ring (36) on the small cartridge. Note: The back up ring must be installed toward the outside, as shown.

Put O-ring seal (37) in cover (3).
Install cover (3) and the bolts.
Tighten the bolts to a torque of 95 7 N m (70 5 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (2) on implement pump (1). End By:
