Only controllers with the plant exerciser option C/D will show a system clock. If the controller does not have the plant exerciser option, the second line and the third line of the "SYSTEM OPERATIONAL" screen will be blank. When the clock is present but the clock has not been set, the display will show "SET SYSTEM CLOCK" on the second line of the "SYSTEM OPERATIONAL" screen. When the clock is set, the screen will show the time on the second line and the date on the third line of the "SYSTEM OPERATIONAL" screen. See illustration 1.
Remove the rear cover from the controller by removing the four screws in the rear cover.

Remove the protective plastic strip (1) from the battery. See illustration 2.
From the "SYSTEM OPERATIONAL" screen, press the "2" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to scroll to the "SET SYSTEM CLOCK" setting.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Enter the access code.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to change the hour.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to change the minutes.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to change the month.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to change the day.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
Use the "2" key or the "3" key in order to change the year.
Press the "4" key on the controller.
In order to change the settings, press the "4" key and repeat steps 7 through 17.
If the setting is satisfactory, press the "1" key. You will then be returned to the "SYSTEM OPERATIONAL" screen.
