Dual grade laser transmitter setup (1) Alignment Stake (2) Direction Axis (3) Cross Axis (4) Reference Point
Align the axes. Set up the laser directly over a reference point and use the sighting grooves on the top of the laser to align one axis (direction axis) to an alignment stake. See illustration 1.
Under most conditions, the sighting grooves on the top of the laser are adequate for alignment of the axes. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Laser Transmitter Precise Alignment" for information on precise alignment.
Enter the percent of grade that is required. One or both of the grade axes and cross slope axes of the laser transmitter should have a percent grade entered into the display.
