This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1321" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1321" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from Parts Stock as soon as possible.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the December 21, 1996 (Revised February 1997) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Parts Needed.
Problem
The internal wall may degrade on hoses used in 938F, 950F Series II, 960F, 966F Series II, 970F and 980G Wheel Loaders, 815F, 816F, 824G, 825G and 826G Compactors and IT38F Toolcarriers. The hose assemblies must be replaced.
