Resetting All Areas Of Compaction
Resetting all areas of compaction allows the operator to reset all compaction work to zero passes. This method is useful when a compactor starts working in a new area.
"Reset All Areas" - This button resets all areas of compaction that are displayed on the plan window.

"Confirm Reset" window for all areas.
To reset all areas of compaction that are displayed in the plan window, select the "Reset All Areas" tool that is located on the CAESultra toolbar. Alternatively, select "Compactor" from the CAESultra menu and then select "Reset All Areas". The "Confirm Reset" dialog box will appear.
Select "Yes" to confirm the resetting of all areas of compaction in the plan window. The color in the plan window will be reset to gray.Resetting Thick Lifts
After an operator has remedied the thick lift condition, resetting the thick lift removes the white color on the display.
"Reset Thick Lifts" - This button resets thick lifts that are displayed on the plan window.

To reset the thick lifts that are displayed in the plan window, select the "Reset Thick Lifts" tool that is located on the CAESultra toolbar. Alternatively, select "Compactor" from the CAESultra menu and then select "Reset Thick Lifts". The "Confirm Reset" dialog box will appear.
Select "Yes" to confirm the resetting of the thick lifts in the plan window. The thick lift areas will be reset to a color that indicates the amount of compaction that was achieved since the last thick lift condition.Elevation Design from Current Elevation
At the end of the day the area of the landfill that has been worked is covered with a thin layer of material. The material cover prevents wind blown trash escaping from the landfill. The cover material is usually earth, which is expensive.CAESultra can provide a design that enables efficient distribution of the cover material. The current elevation is converted to a design. The machine operator applies an offset to the design. The offset specifies the desired thickness of the cover material. CAESultra guides the operator to spread the cover material to the desired thickness.Follow the instructions below to create a design for the cover material:

When compaction is complete, open the CAESultra main menu and select "Files". The "Files" submenu is opened.
Select "Create Design From Elevation". The "Current Elevation" file is converted to an "Elevation Design" file called "elevationdesignfromcurrent.cat." The new "Elevation Design" file is set as the prime elevation design file.
Open the CAESultra main menu and select "Files". The "Files" submenu is opened.
Select "Change Design Offset".

Select the "Change Design Offset" item.
The "Elevation Design Offset" dialog appears. Touch "Change" and use the keypad to enter the required thickness of the cover material.

Enter the offset to the design, such as 0.5 ft.
Touch the "Accept" button. The offset to the design is applied. The top of the cover material is now the target design level.Note: The "Create Design From Elevation" option must be configured by the office. This option is not available in the
