Information:
 Creating a New Folder
A system administrator or Caterpillar Dealer may have created folders for the system. A user can create folders similar to method used in Windows Explorer. Creating a folder can be done by using the right-click menu or the button on the toolbar.When creating a child folder, first select the parent folder location, then select "Create Folder". Perform the following procedure:
Navigate to where the folder will be created.
Right-click and then click "Create Folder", or click the "Create Folder" button on the toolbar.
Enter a name for the folder.
Click "OK". Uploading Files to a Folder
Perform the following procedure:
Right-click the folder to which to upload the file.
Click "Upload to Folder".
Navigate to the file to upload.
If the file is already uploaded, the existing file can be overwritten. To overwrite the file, select the "Overwrite Existing File" check box.
Click "OK". Note: Alternatively, click the "Upload to Folder" button on the toolbar.Renaming a Folder
Perform the following procedure:
Right-click the folder to rename.
Click "Rename Folder".
Enter the new filename and click "OK". Downloading Files
Perform the following procedure:
Navigate to the file to download.
Right-click the file.
Click "Download File" on the menu.
Navigate to where the file will be downloaded.
Click "Save". The "File Download" dialog box shows the download progress.
The" Transfer Status" screen at the bottom of the "File Manager" screen also shows the download progress, and indicates when the download is finished. File Type Filter
Perform the following procedure:
From the "All Files" drop-down list, select the type of file to view. If "All files" is selected, all of the files in each folder can be seen. Otherwise, choose the file type to view.
Folders can be viewed in a tree view or a list view by selecting either "Tree" or "List" to toggle between the views.
To expand or collapse a folder in tree view, click the row of that folder.
To expand a folder in list view, click the name of the folder. To collapse a folder, click the blue arrow above the "Name" column. Renaming Files

Enter the new file name.

Navigate to the file to copy and paste.
Right-click the file.

Perform the following procedure:
Navigate to the file to cut and paste.
Right-click the file.
Click "Cut File" on the menu.
Click the folder to which the file will be copied.
Right-click the folder and click "Paste File".
Click "OK". Deleting Files
Perform the following procedure:
Navigate to the file to delete.
Right-click the file.
Click "Delete". A prompt appears asking to confirm the file deletion.
Click "OK" to confirm, or "Cancel" to close the dialog and not delete the file. Note: Several files can be deleted simultaneously. Hold down the shift key and select the first and last files in a continuous block. Alternatively, hold down the control key and click the files to transfer if the files are not in a continuous block.
