Loosen clamp (5). Remove tube assembly (3).

Remove clip (6). Remove clips (7).

Disconnect tube assembly (8).

Disconnect hose assembly (10).

Disconnect hose assemblies (11) and (12).

Using a suitable lifting device, remove pump assembly (14). The weight of pump assembly (14) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb.).

Install Tooling (A). Install Tooling (B). Attach a suitable lifting device to torque converter (15). The weight of torque converter (15) is approximately 499 kg (1100 lb.).

Position Tooling (C) and suitable cribbing in order to support flywheel housing (16).

Using a suitable lifting device, lift torque converter. Remove suitable cribbing from under torque converter (15). Slowly lower torque converter (15) until flywheel housing is supported by Tooling (C) and suitable cribbing. Note: Keep enough tension for the suitable lifting device to be harboring most of the weight of torque converter (15) in order to sustain structural integrity of the flywheel housing.

Remove bolts (17).

Position suitable cribbing onto Tooling (D) in order for the drain plug to clear Tooling (D). Separate torque converter (15) from the flywheel housing. Set torque converter (15) onto Tooling (D) and suitable cribbing. Remove the suitable lifting device.

Position Tooling (D) so that it is no longer underneath of the cross member. Attach the suitable lifting device to torque converter (15). Remove torque converter (15) through the top side of the machine. Installation Procedure
Install torque converter (15) in the reverse order of removal.
