UPS Paging Configuration
Note: Paging configuration can only be accessed by UPSView software.The UPS can notify authorized personnel via pager whenever required.Note: Your system must have the modem option installed for paging to work.Pager Configuration
Select "UPS Settings" from the "Menu" bar.
Select "Remote Notification Settings" from the drop-down menu.
Select "Pager Configuration".

Input the "Dial in Number". The "Dial in Number" is the number of the telephone line that is connected to the UPS.
Select "Tone Dialing" or "Pulse Dialing" as required.
Select "Broadcast Paging Mode" or "Escalate Paging Mode" as required. The system can select up to four pager numbers.
Input the "Pager Numbers", including any outside access prefixes.
Select "Notification Enables". You can select "Alarm Notification" or "Notice Notification" or both.
Select "Pager Type".
Input the "Pager Number".
Input the "Pager ID" number. The "Pager ID" number is for alphanumeric pagers only.
Input the "Delay (Seconds)". This delay interval is the function that allows the paging service to complete the "Welcome Message" before allowing a page message to be input.
Select the "Send" button to store the information into flash memory.
Select the "Receive" button to view the current settings stored in flash memory.
Repeat steps 1 thru 7 to set up pager numbers for pagers two, three, and four.
Select the "Test" button. The "Test" button function will send out a test page to the specified pager to ensure that the settings are correct.
Select the "Close" button to close out the window.Pager Options
Pager options are available for communicating with an address. For example, broadcast and escalate are two methods for communicating with an address.Broadcast mode attempts to page all addresses on the list with a slight delay between each call. There is a 5 minute delay while waiting for a call-back. When there is no callback, the system repeats the sequence."Escalate Mode" attempts to page three times with intervals of 5 minutes between each call before moving to the next address. The timing interval is fixed and cannot be altered or changed.If a busy signal is received, the system waits 15 seconds before trying again. Five attempts will be made.Note: Dial in to cancel paging or the system continues another 200 times.Pager Codes and Acknowledgments
