Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect clamp (10). Install elbow (9) onto precooler (3). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of clamp (10). Connect clamp (10). Tighten clamp (10) to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).

Install precooler (3) and elbow (9) .
Install bolts (8) .

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of clamp (7). Connect clamp (7). Tighten clamp (7) to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).

Install tube (6). Tighten clamp (5) to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).

Connect hoses (4) to precooler (3) .

Connect hose (2) and hose (1) onto precooler (3) .
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".End By: Install the clean gas induction valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Clean Gas Induction Valve - Install".
