Remove exhaust bypass valve.
Remove the turbochargers.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
If necessary, loosen the clamp assemblies for the exhaust bypass valve. Disconnect the bellows assemblies.

Remove bolts (1) and shield assembly (2).

Remove bolts (4) and brackets (3).
Remove four bolts (5).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to exhaust elbow (7). The weight of exhaust elbow (7) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).
Remove bolts (6). Remove exhaust elbow (7).Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to exhaust elbow (7). The weight of exhaust elbow (7) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Position exhaust elbow (7) on the support bracket.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads and bearing surfaces of bolts (6). Install bolts (6).
If necessary, apply Tooling (B) to the threads, the bearing surfaces, and the inner surface of the clamp assemblies for the exhaust bypass valve. Connect the bellows assemblies for the exhaust bypass valve. Tighten the clamp assemblies to a torque of 25 6 N m (18 4 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (B) to the threads and bearing surfaces of bolts (5). Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
Install brackets (3) and bolts (4).

Install shield assembly (2) and bolts (1).End By:
Install the turbochargers.
Install exhaust bypass valve.
